Overview

The Sr Manager, Proposal & Business Services is responsible for preparation of all assigned proposals, from concept through presentation to the client. This will include establishing a consistent process and working closely with estimators, writers, editors, graphic design and business development. He/she will manage assignments and collect and organize proposal content. This position will also be responsible for managing Salesforce and serve as a liaison with Communications department, leads Office Services team for Phoenix Industrial, Casey Industrial and Centennial offices.

Responsibilities

    Lead and oversee Proposal team and Office Services team
  • Maintaining Salesforce: including updating contacts, project lists.
  • Setup, configure and maintain standard and customized features in Salesforce.
  • Respond to team member's requests across departments by providing data, reports from Salesforce and assist in training team members on how to use data.
  • Manage pre-qualifications/pre-qualification site maintenance
  • Prepare proposals that meet objectives of proposal budget and timeline.
  • Schedule meetings, complete outlines and track proposal progress.
  • Assist in preparation of finished proposal.
  • Maintain knowledge of approved company vendors, estimating methods as well as project execution procedures.
  • Ensure completed proposals are professional, cohesive and credible.
  • Assess, design and deliver on marketing needs identified by the business units. Develop relationships across the business units to ensure understanding and delivery of marketing materials within Shared Service team.
  • Assist with meetings, conferences, client presentations, events as needed
  • Coordinate to marketing requests from the business units. Provide great customer service to the key players in each business unit.
  • Assist Communications department on internal and external communications projects including social media, internal articles and graphic design. Provide leadership and expertise on meeting internal customers' needs.
  • Manage, lead direct reports, and mentor.


Qualifications

SUPERVISION:

  • Must be able to manage, supervise, lead and mentor multiple direct reports including a Proposal team, Office Services Team and 3rd party contractors.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
  • When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
  • Set a personal example of safe behavior.
  • Other may duties may be assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires prolonged sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

HOURS: This position is a standard full-time position, with general business 40-hour operating schedule, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL: Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
