Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the UIC College of Dentistry is seeking qualified candidates for several Open Rank Faculty positions at 60% FTE (part-time) in the non-tenure clinical track for the Pre-Doctoral education program to engage in preclinical and clinical instruction in all aspects of the Restorative Sciences. The Department of Restorative Dentistry supports the patient care and educational programs associated with the Predoctoral and Advanced Educational Programs of the College of Dentistry. This includes the predoctoral digital dentistry, implant program, fixed partial dentures, operative dentistry, removable prosthodontics, occlusion, and biomaterials, as well as numerous collaborative efforts. Department faculty are responsible for 60% of the predoctoral educational program. Qualifications include a DDS/DMD or equivalent and eligible for licensure in Illinois. Prior teaching experience is highly preferred, advanced clinical training and board eligibility/certification is desired but not required. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to interdisciplinary care and willingness to engage other academic departments. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications within the norms and criteria for faculty appointments in the Department of Restorative Dentistry.
