The Director of Product Management for Patient Engagement is responsible for roadmap definition, release planning, and ensuring proper delivery of customer facing solutions into our production environment. This role will interact directly with the functional team, the development team, and the PMO (project management office) to ensure that product releases are delivered according to plan (e.g. scope, timeline, cost, etc.). The Director of Product Management for Patient Engagement will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative patient engagement solutions that improve adherence, drive measurable outcomes, and enhance market perception. Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution of Cencora's Patient Engagement Strategy, incorporating HEOR principles, patient adherence measures, and value-based care models in the development of modular, scalable solutions to serve manufacturers, payers and providers.
- Oversee the development and integration of Salesforce Cloud, patient portals, mobile apps, and texting/call center solutions.
- Be an active cross-functional contributor and facilitator in product roadmap decisions, and possess knowledge of business requirements, general technical design, and multi-channel solutions.
- Partner with team members, cross-functional team leads, key stakeholders, and IBS leadership to define and manage the patient engagement product roadmap(s).
- Coordinate with all stakeholders and development teams in the creation of application release plans and to define the scope of each release.
- Partner with Data Innovation/advanced analytics team in creation of application development plans that incorporate outcomes measurements to demonstrate program value.
- Work in coordination with the Solution Analyst Team, manage the incorporation of defect corrections into release plans, ensure closure of defects, and es.
- Represent all channels of customer facing solutions in the technical transport meetings, cross-functional planning meetings, stakeholder meetings, and meetings with leadership.
- Coordinate with Solution Analysts, Security, and Technical teams to ensure environmental readiness: stability, performance, optimization, and proper change management.
- Responsible for researching and maintaining a working knowledge of the future SAP offerings, capabilities and technology trends, and incorporating that knowledge into communication and implementation at Cencora.
- Collaborate with Commercialization Team on the development of high-quality commercialization tools and the development of Go-to-market plans. This includes sales/BD materials articulating the value proposition for service capabilities, RFP language, pricing, implementation guides/plans/checklists, operational SOPs, scripts, and associate training materials that support new product features/innovations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
- A minimum of a B.S. degree in Computer Science or the equivalent is required.
- A minimum of six (6) years IT and/or related business experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships, drive innovation, and establish best practices.
- Possess an understanding of business process modeling, system development lifecycle planning, web development, configuration of SAP CRM/ECC, and extensive experience in E-Commerce is critical.
- Possess a strong understanding of SAP architecture and capabilities in order to champion cost-effective, stable, and innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proven ability to develop, iterate, and execute thePatient Engagement strategy, leveraging HEOR principles, real-world evidence (RWE), predictive analytics, and patient-centered design to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Expertise in aligning product roadmaps with organizational goals to drive innovation, improve patient outcomes, and enhance market competitiveness.
- Extensive experience managingmulti-channel solutions(Salesforce, mobile/web platforms, call center/texting tools) and leading product lifecycle management from ideation to delivery.
- Deep understanding ofadherence services, campaign management, and emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to optimize patient engagement.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, analytics, marketing, and technology) to deliver seamless, patient-first solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to align stakeholders, influence decision-making, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of usingadherence metrics (e.g., MPR, PDC), patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and real-world evidence (RWE) to evaluate program success and inform continuous improvement.
- Experience publishing or utilizing outcomes studies to support value-based care and enhance client partnerships.
