Job Summary

  • Provide overall test engineering assistance for facility
  • Manages all aspects of small projects with regular review of senior staff
  • Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products
  • Assist with testing procedures
  • Assist with test equipment and fixturing design responsibilities
  • Assist with maintenance resolution on testing procedures
  • Analyze customer requirements and assist with testing procedures
  • Assist with assembly instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawings
  • Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area
  • Perform other assignments as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Prior experience with an ISO environment is a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities
  • Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired
  • Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project
  • Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes, together with work measurement and work standards
  • Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Required Experience and Education

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
  • 1-4 years of experience in Test Engineering functions consistent with the specific position
