Excellent company culture - as recognized by Newsweek's Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces Clean and climate controlled working environment Opportunity for career growth Great benefits including paid vacation and sick time, 401K match, Employee Stock Purchase Program, annual bonus plan, and tuition reimbursement Job Summary Provide overall test engineering assistance for facility Manages all aspects of small projects with regular review of senior staff Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products Assist with testing procedures Assist with test equipment and fixturing design responsibilities Assist with maintenance resolution on testing procedures Analyze customer requirements and assist with testing procedures Assist with assembly instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and drawings Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area Perform other assignments as required Required Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of basic manufacturing test processes Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings Prior experience with an ISO environment is a plus Demonstrated analytical expertise including ability to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish priorities Understanding of DOE, 6-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing desired Working knowledge at an intermediate level of computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project Flexible with high energy, able to handle multiple tasks smoothly Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes, together with work measurement and work standards Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Required Experience and Education Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering 1-4 years of experience in Test Engineering functions consistent with the specific position Physical Demands(reasonable accommodations may be made, if necessary): Physical Abilities Lift /Carry Stand - Frequently 10 lbs or less - Frequently Walk - Occasionally 11-20 lbs - Frequently Sit - Frequently 21-50 lbs - Occasionally Climb - Occasionally 51-100 lbs - Occasionally Crawl - N/A Over 100 lbs - N/A Squat or Kneel - Occasionally Bend - Occasionally Push / Pull Fine Manipulation - Frequently 10 lbs or less - Occasionally Reach Outward - Frequently 10-20 lbs - Occasionally Reach Above Shoulder- Occasionally 20-50 lbs - Occasionally Drive - N/A 50-100 lbs - Occasionally Over 100 lbs - N/A N/A (Not Applicable) - Activity is not applicable to this occupation.
