Facility Maintenance Technician

The Facility Maintenance Technician works to ensure equipment is fully operational and develops maintenance programs.

Job Summary

  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the next
    generation equipment maintenance program encompassing the entire manufacturing
    operation
  • Work closely with operations personnel to ensure the
    maintenance program aligns with equipment needs and productions on time delivery
  • Develop and/or revise preventative maintenance procedures for
    assigned equipment as required
  • Generate and maintain maintenance documentation and schedules
    electronically, following appropriate ISO procedures for all critical equipment
  • Maintain
    spare parts list and minimum quantities for assigned equipment
  • Responsible
    for on-time reporting of offline equipment and follow up notifications of
    progress
  • General
    maintenance as required to maintain the facility to a high standard
  • Maintain
    hazardous waste logs and records in line with DEQ standards
  • Coordinate
    and oversee the team for snow removal during inclement weather and other onsite
    events planned by the company
  • Perform
    other assignments as required by manager

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a high sense of urgency for all projects
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Experience using standard electronic test equipment (volt,
    amp meter, etc.) and other relative test equipment
  • Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime
    requirements to maintain factory uptime
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for off-site training
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and ability to read
    electrical schematics and equipment manuals
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work with database management software
  • Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience and Education

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Five (5) years experience with HVAC, Plumbing, &
    Electrical preferred
  • Five (5) years experience with Air Compressors, Generators,
    & Vacuum Pumps preferred
  • Five (5) years experience with general facility maintenance in
    an office or manufacturing environment preferred
  • RCRA training preferred
  • Oklahoma Journeyman license in any
    related field preferred
