We are hiring for 2 roles. 1 position is fully remote. The other is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to be local to Massachusetts. Please see requirements for each role below. Position 1: Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday Location: Hybrid model. Will require an onsite presence at our Tyngsborough Massachusetts office and ability to travel to other locations in Massachusetts is required. Position 2: Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday Location: Fully remote. Job Profile Summary This role focuses on performing a variety of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, and collections, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Financial Planning & Analysis duties: Short and long-term financial planning and/or financial analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance. This includes the analysis of internal financial information (e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.) and of external economic conditions and their impact on business operations (e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc.). Conducts financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. An experienced level role that applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works independently with general supervision, problems faced are difficult but typically not complex, and may influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. This position helps manage spending to ensure that funds are allocated appropriately and used according to the organization's annual finance projections. Gathers and analyzes healthcare operational data, creates and maintains budget records in accordance with company guidelines, and develops budget/planning recommendations for the organization. This position works closely with Accounting, Decision Support, and other Finance-related departments to request and receive appropriate data elements to assist in the completion of their assigned responsibilities. Evaluates program effectiveness of strategic and routine capital funding to determine if redistribution of funds is required. May train and oversee the work of other members of the team. Minimum Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 1. Finance and budget experience in a matrixed healthcare organization. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. 1. Assists in the preparation of annual operating budgets and transitions to a rolling forecast model. 2. Maintains and oversees the budget and forecasting systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely updates. 3. Facilitates the preparation of capital budgets for business units and ensures alignment with financial strategies. 4. Collaborates with department heads, senior management, and key stakeholders to develop organizational and departmental budgets using platforms like Strata OB. 5. Reviews reports, proposals, and budgets for compliance and accuracy. 6. Provides guidance on financial profitability analysis across various departments. 7. Ensures departmental budget requests are merit-based and authentic. 8. Oversees variance reporting by creating reports and setting up meetings to review variances with Directors and Finance leadership. 9. Prepares financial analyses for the Financial Leadership Team to support committee and board meetings. 10. Assists in preparing monthly accounting and productivity monitoring for the hospitals. 11. Prepares financial reports and provides proactive financial estimates and recommendations. 12. Works with senior management, physician leaders, and department directors to assess and support capital budgeting and cash flow impacts. 13. Assists in the annual capital budget process and in the development of strategies for efficient fund allocation. 14. Ensures compliance with regulatory agency reports and third-party cost reports. 15. Assists with filings and ad-hoc financial analyses or special projects as required. 16. Reviews payroll reports, reconcile expenses, and assists departments with staffing cost management. 17. Collects and reports contract labor data, ensuring accurate budgeting and staffing levels. 18. Leads the position control process, including submissions, approvals, and managing related communications. 19. Oversees the maintenance of position control reports, including new requests and approvals. 20. Leads, collects, and reports all data related to productivity for ActionOI 21. Works with consultants, and other business partners to report the data quarterly 22. Assists in the preparation of the multi-year financial plan that ties to the Corporate Strategic Plan. 23. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the Decision Support System (DSS) via collaboration with the DS Team. 24. Provides accounting support as needed, including general ledger entries and reconciliations. 25. Maintains and updates financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances. 26. Leads initiatives to improve financial planning and budgeting systems. 27. Assists in the rollout of new technologies to enhance budget tracking and forecasting capabilities. 28. Translates process and software rollouts into actionable plans for operational effectiveness. 29. Supports monthly actual-to-budget variance analysis with the Accounting department. 30. Trains and mentors junior team members on budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems. 31. Assists in onboarding new department. 32. Cultivates productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 33. Fosters a positive work environment by contributing to team goals and supporting team members. Physical Requirements: 1. Professional office environment with typical office requirements such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. 1. Proven track record of working with key stakeholders to determine and track budgets.
