Job Summary
Outdoor Brands, LLC is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support social media efforts across our portfolio of brands including Pit Boss, Char-Broil, and Oklahoma Joe's. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, proactive, and passionate about storytelling, digital trends, and building community through content. You will collaborate closely with our in-house Chef, content production team, and broader Marketing Team to strategize, execute, and optimize content campaigns. You will also help manage brand influencer relationships and live event coverage to ensure we maintain a cohesive and engaging social media presence. Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute creative social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn. * Create and publish high-quality, engaging content (photo, video, stories, Reels, etc.) aligned with brand voice and campaign goals. * Write compelling, on-brand social media copy that drives engagement and growth. * Maintain and manage a content calendar across all social channels, ensuring timely and consistent posting. * Monitor platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maximize reach and effectiveness. * Analyze metrics and performance data to report on campaign effectiveness and provide actionable insights. * Collaborate with influencers and content creators: coordinate deliverables, provide briefs, track posts, and maintain relationships. * Assist in the coverage of live and digital events including planning, real-time posting, and community interaction. * Work cross-functionally with design, culinary, eCommerce, and product teams to support broader brand initiatives Qualification Requirements
* 3+ years of experience managing social media for mid-size or large consumer-facing brands. * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). * Strong understanding of social media platforms, current trends, and emerging platforms. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sense for visuals and storytelling. * Working knowledge of SEO, social listening, and analytics tools (e.g., Emplifi, Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite). * Comfortable with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or InShot. * Experience in influencer collaboration and contract management is a plus. * Must be self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. * Passion for outdoor cooking, grilling, or lifestyle brands is a bonus. Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous) * Paid social experience (Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, etc.) * Photography/videography and basic editing skills * Knowledge of community management and engagement strategies * Experience in user-generated content (UGC) sourcing and repurposing * Familiarity with food, lifestyle, or CPG industries Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
