About the Role

MWH is currently seeking a Director of Talent to be located in our Broomfield, CO office. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and help us continue to grow.

As the Director of Talent, you will be responsible for leading the company's overall talent strategy, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain talent in support of our business goals. You will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer and work closely with senior management to develop and execute talent strategies that support the company's goals and objectives. This includes being responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team. You will partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent to meet those needs. You will partner with leaders to assess, design, and implement tools, processes, and infrastructure that drive role clarity, performance and growth for all employees.

Essential Functions



  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent for the company.
  • Lead and manager the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening candidate qualifications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations and generating offer letters.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships and pipelines at key organizations, educational institutions, industry organizations, and others to promote the company and identify and attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and establish recruitment plans that align with the project and company goals and objectives.
  • Utilize social media, job boards, and other recruitment tools to identify and attract top talent to the organization.
  • Implement recruitment processes that ensure a positive candidate experience and support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, including delivering training programs for hiring managers and interviewers to ensure a consistent and fair hiring process and to improve hiring and onboarding.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and make data-driven decisions to improve processes and outcomes, including establishing metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Develop and maintain job titles and descriptions that accurately reflect the job duties and required skills and qualifications for each position and align those with internal career development materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to staffing and hiring practices.
  • Develop and manage relationships with recruitment agencies and other recruitment partners.
  • Work with our marketing team to develop innovative advertising and marketing content to improve our recruitment and marketing presence.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Perform the research, development, implementation, and maintenance of strategic talent and workforce development initiatives for the organization.
  • Conduct skills gaps analyses to identify critical skills and competencies needed for current and future success.
  • Ensure performance management, career development, employee engagement, and training and development programs are aligned with company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop and implement employee retention strategies.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HR roles, including organizational development and talent roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in change management discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to staffing and hiring practices along with recruitment best practices, tools, technologies, and trends.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and manage a high performing team of talent and HR professionals.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, educational institutions, and other recruiting sources.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Compensation



  • The anticipated compensation for this position is $125,000-$185,000/yr., depending on previous experience.
