POSITION GOAL:

Support all Facilities Engineering activities related to the St. Cloud plant and the Crookston plant. Support activities for the corporate Facility Council. Lead projects from requirements definition through execution, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, implementation plans, and risk mitigation. Implement related changes and improvements to maximize benefits to the company and its stakeholders.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (list in order of importance)

1. Support all aspects of Facility Council initiatives including creating business cases, developing costing forecasts, facilities readiness, project management and creating and delivering presentations. This position has a strong emphasis on project management.

2. Prepare budget based on project scope and adhere to budgetary allocation.

3. Ability to lead and manage multiple projects.

4. Review and manage lease negotiations for NABC facilities.

5. Participate in special make/buy projects and business cases as required.

6. Ensure accurate CAD layouts for all company facilities are maintained.

7. Manage facility improvement projects or other improvements as assigned.

8. Specify and facilitate capital and equipment upgrades, installations, or modifications.

9. Support Process Planning, Tool & Die and Manufacturing Engineering as required.

10. Work effectively as a team member to ensure goals are achieved and any remedial action is actively pursued.

11. Implement and facilitate lean manufacturing initiatives as they relate to facilities.

12. Promote an environment of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Ability to shift focus and priorities as required to keep projects moving and meet deadlines.

Experience / Knowledge: (Required Experience / Knowledge Only)

* 2 - 5 years of Project Management experience desired.

* Experience using Excel to perform project / business analysis.

* Experience using PowerPoint to create presentations.

* Reading and interpretation of engineering and/or architectural drawings.

* Basic understanding of Oracle required.

* Experience working as an effective team player.

Specific Job Skills: (e.g. Computer Skills, Communication, Motivation, Organizational Skills)

* AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Oracle.

* Strong presentation and verbal communication skills & experience.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset.

Lean certification or applicable equivalent work experience.

Education: (Required Education Only)

Engineering Degree and/or related courses & work experience.
