WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Develop and maintain a highly motivated workforce through training and employee development programs to elevate the skill level of employees, as well as provide flexibility in a multi-functional workforce environment.
- Define manufacturing improvement goals and supporting programs to reduce setup, improve productivity and quality, reduce manufacturing cycle time, lower conversion costs, minimize machine downtime and achieve on time delivery.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and actions any deficiencies or concerns in the department's safety.
- Monitor department product quality and metrics and addresses any discrepancies or issues.
- Monitor the production schedule and course corrects any deviations.
- Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; mentoring, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations of Team Leaders and Team Members, recognizing dedication and addressing low performance issues.
- Mentor Team Leaders and Team Members for career/talent development.
- Ensure that the team follows the policies and procedures of Chemelex Technical Solutions.
- Maintain training records for Team Leaders and Team Members.
- Implement plant deployment strategies & transformation plan.
- Collect key performance metrics from the processes.
- Identify the root cause and implement corrective actions for identified safety, quality and delivery misses.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of confirmed experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of direct leadership experience desired.
- Ability to collaborate multi-functionally and cultivate a team approach.
- Ability to think on one's feet and make strategic decisions to solve issues.
- Driven to be a servant leader.
- An approach that focuses on safety in the facility.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present in front of groups as the leader.
- A leader who is conscientious, empathetic, servant-minded, and helps their team learn and grow.

Pay Transparency
The pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $75,500.00 - $140,300.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
