Position Title: Quality Inspector
Wage: $19-$21/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:30pm-12am Monday-Friday We are searching for candidates with prior quality inspection experience for our 2nd shift opening located in North Kansas City, MO. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform quality control of finished product by ensuring work instructions are being followed - Assist in the packaging of goods - Hand stack material coming off the press machine - Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility by cleaning up debris - Continuous use of hand tools such banders and crimpers Quality Inspector Requirements: - Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift - Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, ascend/descend stairs and climb throughout a normal shift - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus - Must have great attendance - return from breaks on time - Must have good attention to detail and hand-to-eye coordination to distinguish defective items - Previous experience in manufacturing and operating a press preferred - Ability to read measuring devices and interpret blueprints and drawings - No cell phones allowed on warehouse floor (leave in locker or car) QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
