Job Summary |
The
College of Agriculture at Auburn University seeks candidates for a
Research Associate role. The individual selected for this position will provide professional-level assistance with research related to bolstering aquaculture production through cost-effective water quality management. This is a limited term appointment funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon the availability of funds.

Essential Functions |
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Collect blood samples from fish, process samples, and analyze samples using a variety of benchtop assays and instruments. |

Minimum Qualifications |
Research Associate I: Master's degree in a life science related field; no experience required.
Research Associate II: Master's degree in a life science related field and 2 years of experience in analytical lab skills and/or research practices and protocols relevant to the position.
Research Associate III: Master's degree in a life science related field and 4 years of experience in analytical lab skills and/or research practices and protocols relevant to the position.
Research Associate IV: Master's degree in a life science related field and 6 years of experience in analytical lab skills and/or research practices and protocols relevant to the position.

- Ability to work with aquatic animals
