To excel in this role, the following qualifications are typically required: Education: High school diploma or GED. Certification: Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for continued employment. Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in an OR environment or equivalent experience in roles such as anesthesia tech, nursing assistant, or sterile processing technician. Familiarity with the OR Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, assisting with patient positioning, transferring surgical patients, and supporting the surgical team to ensure timely turnover of operating rooms. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various equipment and systems, including addressograph, charts, phones, patient call systems, computer systems, and fax machines. Why This Role Rocks
