Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $15.48 - Midpoint: $18.56 (Hourly N2) Department/Organization: 504305 - Central Rec/Property Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm; Occasional weekends required Job Summary: The Inventory Associate maintains the lab supply room and assists faculty, students, and staff in the operation of the teaching and research laboratories. Works with surplus inventory consisting of checking, scanning, processing, and the loading of surplus. Assists with the allocation and distribution of property within the area. Additional Department Summary: Tags new acquisitions. Conducts inventory of fixed assets. Coordinates audit of assets. Receives and verifies incoming surplus items. Determines disposition of surplus items. Assists customers with surplus items. Required Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to make decisions based on careful analysis and thoughtful judgment. Experience with bar coding and working with inventory levels. Knowledge of online sale sites. Computer skills, including, but not limited to, spreadsheet applications, personal computing networks, and internet software. Ability to work without consistent supervision and follow up. Ability to work effectively under high levels of activity.
