Overview
Vermont's Agency of Digital Services - Information Security team is looking for someone to join us as an Information Security Analyst I, focusing on regulatory compliance and third-party risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the basics of data governance and controls. Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be able to successfully complete a federal Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check, as required by the Department of Justice. As of July 14, 2025, the step 1 rate for pay grade 24 will be $29.15 per hour. Who May Apply

Work is performed in a standard office setting, but some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available. Work outside of regular business hours is expected. Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in cybersecurity/information security, computer science, programming, or computer engineering OR Two (2) or more years of experience in the field of information technology INCLUDING at least one (1) year where the primary role was in information security. Preferred Qualifications
Certifications falling under DoD 8570 (now DoD 8140) levels IAT Levels 1 & 2 Total Compensation
