Platform Engineer (Hybrid Work Model)

• Contribute: You'll work in a full-stack, cloud-first, development environment where you'll have the chance to work in many industry-leading technologies, including CI/CD tooling (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Chef), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Docker, load balancing and certificate management, script languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and programming languages (Java, C#, .NET). In addition, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of platform architecture including deployment pipelines, observability practices, storage and server virtualization, and search/analytics solutions.

  • Execute the planning and organization of platform maintenance activities ensuring platform capabilities stay current and relevant.

  • Actively and regularly contribute to agile delivery methodology functions such as stand up, planning, retrospectives, code/solutions reviews, problem analysis, and technical demonstrations.

  • Collaborate with senior team members and other engineering teams to optimize and organize platform deployment configurations in alignment with system requirements.

  • Ensure security best practices are followed and actively contribute to vulnerability assessments and remediation.

  • Service medium-complexity requests, inquiries, and incident remediation across the platform portfolio with minimal assistance or oversight.

• What it Takes:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience. 5+ years of experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one major technical specialization or practice within Platform Engineering (cloud deployment pipelines, observability, virtualization).

  • Proficient in system administration, scripting (PowerShell or Python), and desired state automation tooling relevant to the role.

  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following infrastructure engineering domains (hardware, storage, virtualization, software, cloud, security, networking, or operating systems).
