Autonomous Vehicle Testing Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in Automotive Requirement Engineering Python C++ and domain expertise in ISV and Hi-Tech. The role involves overseeing system design and implementation ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of complex systems to meet automotive requirements - Oversee the development and integration of system components ensuring compliance with industry standards - Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure project success - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements - Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system designs and processes - Ensure system performance and reliability through rigorous testing and validation - Monitor and evaluate system performance making necessary adjustments to optimize functionality - Implement best practices for system engineering to enhance efficiency and effectiveness - Coordinate with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of system components - Conduct regular reviews and audits of system designs to ensure adherence to quality standards - Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring timely completion of milestones - Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to resolve technical issues - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system designs -Qualifications - Must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field - Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in Automotive Requirement Engineering - Must have domain expertise in ISV and Hi-Tech - Nice to have experience with hybrid work models - Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Must have excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Nice to have experience in system performance testing and validation - Must have proficiency in system documentation and process maintenance - Nice to have knowledge of industry standards and best practices in system engineering - Must have ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively - Nice to have familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies - Must have capability to provide technical guidance and support to teams - Nice to have experience in coordinating software and hardware integration - Must have skills in conducting reviews and audits of system designs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $115K - $135K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
