The Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral research associate position in Kexin Xu's lab. Selected candidates will perform highly interdisciplinary and collaborative scientific research in one or more of the following areas:

Minimum Requirements: Doctoral degree in molecular/cellular biology, cancer biology, or closely related biological sciences. Preferred Qualifications:
This position is offered as a 12-month appointment, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. This role is designed as a training opportunity in preparation for a full-time academic or research career. Postdoctoral Research Associates work under the supervision of a senior scholar, focusing on full-time research or scholarship, with the freedom to publish your findings. This is an Exempt level, benefited position. Compensation: Determined based on educational background and experience, in accordance with NIH guidelines. Physical Demands: This position can spend extensive periods of time standing and squatting while conducting experiments or caring for animals.
