Electrical Controls Engineer
What You'll Do: Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems for casting, CNC, and support equipment Optimize control logic to improve cycle times, product quality, and system efficiency Configure and maintain industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus Diagnose and resolve issues with sensors, drives, PLCs, and HMI systems Support maintenance teams and lead root cause analysis for recurring automation faults Analyze automation data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements Collaborate with engineering on machine sequencing and safety logic enhancements Lead automation projects from design and schematics through installation and commissioning Maintain accurate PLC/HMI code, schematics, and panel documentation Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 79/70E, NEC, and UL508A standards What You Bring: Required Skills & Experience
