The Position

As a Business Process Analyst you will consult the business in the use and utilization of IT Systems including ERP/SAP, Electronic Batch Record - MES Pharmasuite, LIMS, eDocCompliance, Crystal Enterprise, or other compliant systems used within RMS Quality Systems. You will manage small project requests, participates and contributes to large projects, supports productive applications, and ensures compliance with corporate and global Roche and Diagnostics standards.

The Position
  • You will manage small project requests, assisting business departments in developing detailed implementation plans for process changes or events, and communicate cross-functional impact to affected areas.

  • You will evaluate and facilitate the prioritization of system enhancement requests, collaborating with cross-disciplined members of Operations, Quality Management, Information Management Team, and IT teams to assess impacts of proposed process changes.

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, translating business needs into applicable system design solutions. Implement and test IT systems software configuration changes in accordance with change control procedures.

  • Manage, participate, and contribute to large portfolio projects according to roles and responsibilities orientation of the project.

  • Perform support for production applications by responding to service desk calls, tracking problems/issues, and following up with customers. Investigate business and/or application problems, determine root cause(s), and coordinate the selection and implementation of solutions.

  • Assist in projects related to computer systems validation by authoring, reviewing, and consulting on validation documentation including but not limited to Validation Plans, Installation Qualifications, Performance Qualifications, and Validation Reports.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and global Roche and Diagnostics standards including Roche and Diagnostics Core, IT Project Methodology, and CSV rules & guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred.
  • You have 4 to 6 years in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 6 to 8 years of experience preferred.

Are equivalencies acceptable?

  • Yes. 5 to 6 years equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Project management. Pharmaceutical or biotechnology background preferred. SAP, Electronic Batch Record - MES Pharmasuite, LIMS, Crystal Enterprise, eDocCompliance, IT Service Desk, Google Workspace, MS Office required.

Licenses and Certifications

  • PMI preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • 20% Based on business needs

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of New Jersey is 94,400 - 175,200 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
