We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business
Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. As a BDR at WebMD Health Services, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential clients and consultants, and nurturing relationships to ultimately secure meetings for our enterprise sales directors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation: Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email
outreach, and social selling, to generate high-quality leads within the target market.
2. Qualification: Conduct thorough research to understand prospects' needs, challenges,
and buying behavior. Evaluate leads to determine their fit with our solution and qualify
them based on predetermined criteria.
3. Outreach: Tailor compelling messages to resonate with the target audience and
effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and
consultants through ongoing communication and follow-up. Act as a trusted advisor,
understanding prospects' pain points and providing insights to demonstrate how our
solutions can address their needs.
5. Appointment Setting: Secure qualified meetings and product demonstrations for our
sales directors by effectively articulating the value proposition and setting clear
expectations for the next steps.
6. Pipeline Management: Track all interactions and lead progress in CRM software (e.g.,
Salesforce). Maintain accurate records of lead activity and pipeline status to ensure
effective communication and collaboration within the sales team.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies,
share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts. Provide feedback on lead quality
and campaign effectiveness to continuously improve sales performance.
Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of success in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the SaaS,
healthcare, or employee benefits industries.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage
prospects effectively and build rapport.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to overcome objections and
address prospect concerns.
4. Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving results.
5. Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in
a fast-paced environment.
6. A genuine interest in the well-being industry and a desire to make a positive impact on
people's lives.
Budget:
$65,000 - $75,000 + Commission |
