JOB OVERVIEW:

Quality Tech is responsible for performing testing of in-line and finished products, swabbing tanks for cleanliness following CIPs, and completing all required documentation to ensure all Ready-to-drink (RTD) product meets specifications.

Schedule: 12H rotation | 5pm-530am + OT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform in-line and finished product testing, including organoleptic and analytical testing

  • Perform ATP and allergen testing

  • Assist with microbiological plating

  • Be familiar with all SOPs of the lab

  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation

  • File and maintain retain samples

  • Calibrate, clean, and maintain lab equipment and area

  • Complete observations as assigned

  • Ability to think critically and address potential issues

  • Follow established programs, policies and GMP practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements

  • Applies knowledge of quality standards and tools to improve food safety and quality

  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred education equivalent to a minimum of a 4-year degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience). Minimum education high school diploma or GED and one year of relevant work experience

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to abide by all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background).

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Compensation Range:$24.50-$32.50, plus bonus.
