We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support data and reporting initiatives. This is a fully remote, contract-based opportunity ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in Cognos reporting, business process documentation, and agile methodologies.
*Key Responsibilities* * Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents, System Design Documents, Training Materials, and Process Flow Charts. * Collaborate with business clients and technical teams to gather and define business and technical requirements. * Create and execute test scripts, test cases, data sets, and user procedures. * Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to user story development. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing. * Manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment. *Required Qualifications* * 4+ years of experience with Cognos reporting. * 7+ years of experience in business systems and process documentation. * 5+ years of experience collaborating with business and technical teams. * 7+ years of experience independently developing and executing test plans. * Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal. * Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. * 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment. * Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. * Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies. *Preferred Qualifications* * 3+ years of recent experience in an operational role at a Medicaid or Medicare agency or Health Insurance company. * Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, and JIRA. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
