AI Business Strategist (MBA Candidate)

Battlefield is a storied franchise renowned for uncompromising combat gameplay for over two decades. 100 million players and 5 billion hours played later, the Battlefield team is looking to define the future of the first-person shooter. United under the banner of Battlefield Studios, 4 world-class teams across Criterion, DICE, Motive and Ripple Effect - all powered by the Battlefield Central Technology (BCT) team - have come together to focus on the future of the franchise, a connected Battlefield universe filled with immersive experiences built on our unique DNA.

Role Overview

Reporting to the VP, Business Performance and Live Services, you will focus on defining Battlefields' long-term business strategy in collaboration with key leaders across the franchise. This role will also focus on using AI to support the Battlefield business strategy process. This will include finding ways to integrate new approaches and thinking forward to the long-term plan along with building out deliverables with immediate impact to today's decision-making workflow.

*Please note that this is a full-time, 6-month temporary role and not an internship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AI models that can provide insight into the strategy of Battlefield
  • Combine business acumen and technical skill to pitch and implement new opportunities for AI to deliver value across the business, i.e. sentiment analysis, scenario planning
  • Collaborate with the marketing, commercial, strategy, and product leadership to ensure projects value
  • Provide insights and applicable recommendations based on ongoing work
  • Present to senior leadership the insights to support the Battlefield strategy and recommendations
  • Work with the AI team to test new AI-driven tools

Qualifications:

  • MBA Candidate or recent Graduate (within the last 12 months) with a focus on business strategy, AI, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest or coursework in AI and machine learning tools and techniques.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities; able to present complex strategic topics for executive audiences.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $63,400 - $86,500 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $42 - $60 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
