Position Summary

The US Value team is a centralized unit within IPG Mediabrands focused on identifying, measuring, and reporting all areas of value delivered to our clients. As an Analyst, you will assist the broader team in various aspects of the practice while gaining exposure to some of our top clients. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to work across all media types and interact with stakeholders representing varying job functions across the network. It is an ideal entry point into an industry that offers multiple paths for future growth.

The Analyst will report directly into a Manager while supporting all US Value team members, as well as working directly with the agency investment teams. media planning and other departments as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Help streamline the data collection and reporting processes across select clients
  • Liaise with agency investmentand planning teams to collect required data for value reporting
  • Manipulate large datasets from multiple sources, including proprietary agency tools
  • Analyze reporting outputs to uncover any discrepancies and address outliers
  • Assist with the monitoring and measuring of buying results and value generated for clients
  • Ensure in house systems are kept up to date with relevant and correct information
  • Support the team with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Aid in preparing data to share with auditor for validation and benchmarking


Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a media role with exposure to media buying & spend tracking platforms such as MediaOcean, Mediatools (aka Guideline).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, a must
  • Comfortable interrogating data and presenting analyses clearly and succinctly
  • Desire to learn more about media and the client's business
  • Independent, self-starter that can balance competing priorities
  • Accurate and analytically sophisticated with strong attention to detail and note taking
  • Ability to build professional relationships with client and colleagues

The salary range for this position is posted below.
