The Strategic Sales Manager role is focused on driving long-term revenue growth and market expansion for Federal Industries products across the United States through data-driven strategic planning and execution. This position combines deep market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic account management to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that maximize market penetration and customer lifetime value. The role requires building and executing go-to-market strategies for a targeted market segment while optimizing performance across existing channels through strategic partnership development and advanced sales methodologies What You'll Do Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
- Develop comprehensive market penetration strategies by analyzing competitive landscapes, identifying high-value market segments, and creating data-driven sales forecasts and territory optimization plans
Channel Strategy Development
- Design and implement multi-channel sales strategies, optimizing the independent sales representative network through strategic goal-setting, performance analytics, and targeted capability development programs
Strategic Account Management
- Lead strategic initiatives with key national accounts, buying groups, and enterprise clients by developing customized value propositions, negotiating enterprise-level agreements, and managing complex sales cycles
Competitive Intelligence & Positioning
- Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, develop differentiated positioning strategies, and create competitive response frameworks that enhance Federal's market position
Sales Strategy Execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experience initiatives with strategic sales objectives and market demands
Partnership Development
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, including equipment dealers, consultants, and buying groups, to expand market reach and accelerate growth
Revenue Optimization
- Implement advanced sales methodologies, pricing strategies, and deal structuring approaches to maximize profitable revenue growth and improve sales cycle efficiency
Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, adjacent market segments, and geographic expansion possibilities while developing go-to-market strategies for new product launches
Performance Analytics
- Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure strategic initiative effectiveness, track market share growth, and optimize resource allocation across territories and segments
Sales Enablement
- Design and deliver strategic sales training programs, competitive intelligence briefings, and advanced sales tools to enhance representative capabilities and market effectiveness

- Perform duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of strategic sales or business development experience with demonstrated success in complex B2B environments
- Proven track record in developing and executing market expansion strategies and managing strategic accounts
- Extensive travel required (50-60%) with ability to work effectively in remote and travel-intensive environments
- Demonstrated expertise in channel management, partner development, and multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level executives and key stakeholders
