Overview

The Supervisor of Intelligence Services will be responsible for working an active case load while supervising a team of intelligence analysts responsible for monitoring offender communications, leveraging ViaPath's proprietary intelligence tools against multiple disparate data sets to provide actionable intelligence, and conducting intelligence briefings for the client and outside law enforcement agencies. The Supervisor will provide direct support to the customer.

While in this critical position, you will have the opportunity to utilize your training and experience by developing actionable intelligence related to the state facilities or by joint efforts with approved outside law enforcement agencies within established timeframes.

This position will be located at our client site based in Dover, DE.



Responsibilities

    Oversee Intelligence team staff and projects
  • Work directly with the customer and serve as ViaPath Fusion's point of contact
  • Receive, review, and assign cases based on analytic workload
  • Organize the team to collect, plan, analyze, develop a product, and deliver tailored intelligence capabilities to the customer
  • Manage quality assurance and control over all work products to ensure they meet ViaPath standards
  • Identify gaps and analyze problems; generate recommended solutions
  • Act as a resource for team members
  • Monitor offender telephone calls
  • Generate and review intelligence reports
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the administration
  • Handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Organize and present facts and opinions clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
  • Analyze data to establish trends within the facilities and identify potential areas of interest
  • Assist facility with investigations by utilizing specialized software provided for data mining and link analysis
  • Communicate with both customer and ViaPath personnel
  • Conduct and report on examinations of mobile and computer evidence
  • Work an active case load
  • Will be responsible for employee evaluations, counseling, training and daily management
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback to employees as well as annual performance review


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent years of related work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Will also consider a combination of related certifications and related work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of team leadership and/or management experience required
  • A minimum of 5 years of investigative, intelligence, case management or corrections experience required
  • Ability to successfully partner with customer
  • A proven track record of successfully developing actionable intelligence
  • Excellent customer engagement skills
  • Fundamental understanding of intelligence processes in a correctional environment to include institutional operations and criminal procedures
  • Prepared to testify in court or other administrative related hearings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Suite to include MS Excel formulas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with ViaPath applications and ability to learn third party software
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented with proven experience in managing in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Ability to gain internal support and establish solid working relationships
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
