Accountant - Healthcare Philadelphia PA Pay From: $65K MUST: The Accountant candidate should have the following: 3-4 years of recent experience as an Accountant A/R Revenue accounting Strong financial operations Preparing balance sheets and reconciliations Handling month end close and financial reporting Variance analysis Entering journal entries Experience providing support with audits Strong general ledger experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Experienced with Peoplesoft, Blackline (cloud based financial software that helps automate A/R/accounting processes) Experience with Smart Systems a plus Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting DUTIES: The Duties of the Accountant include but are not limited to the following: Handle journal entry creation and submission and recording recurring journal entries Analyze monthly financials Prepare balance sheet and subledger reconciliations Review financial statements and create financial/accounting reports Perform accounting in deadline driven environment Handle month end close Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts Prepare and resolve issues with account reconciliations Perform account analysis Handle financial reporting Assist with accounting audits Provide support on various accounting projects Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
