Job Description:
Entegris is looking to meet a talented individual who will lead with ideas to solve critical separation problems in new ways. This individual will play a very active, hands-on role in all phases of design and development of filtration devices including customer needs translation, product design, process development, prototyping, testing and documentation. The focus will be on life science as well as exploring additional new applications for our unique separations technology. The role is based within our corporate headquarters in Billerica, MA.
- Spearhead the design and development of next-generation filtration technologies, guiding technical direction and fostering innovation within the team
- Plan and execute membrane and filter performance testing in bioprocessing applications to evaluate and refine new product designs
- Design fixtures, processes, and prototypes in lab environments to support alpha and beta testing with customers
- Partners with R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Commercial, Quality, and Procurement teams to drive products from concepts through development
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communications, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and successful project execution
- Monitor competitive trends and emerging technologies in Life Sciences filtration and offer R&D insights to the product development team to refine product design and align with market demands
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related engineering fields
- Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar or relevant role
- Hands-on experience with membrane fabrication and performance testing
- Experience with filtration device design and development, performance evaluation, and failure analysis
- Components design and flow simulation experience using SolidWorks
- Skilled inDesign of Experiments (DOE)andstatistical analysisfor data-driven decision-making
- Bioprocessing and biomedical applications experiences and understanding of regulatory requirements in life science applications
- Some travel (domestic and international) should be expected (10-20%)

- Compensation: $77,500 - $97,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
