Medaxis is seeking a Senior Inventory Analyst.
This position is in a start-up environment and is ideal for the individual who is comfortable with working in a multi-faceted role including buying and some transportation responsibilities.
The Senior Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory across the supply chain, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence. This role encompasses end-to-end inventory planning, purchasing, and transportation coordination to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education/Experience Requirements - Senior Inventory Analyst



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred

  • Minimum five years' experience in inventory planning or related role desired

  • Experience working in multi-channel and matrix environment

  • Possess strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and possess interpersonal skills that motivates and builds consensus across multiple, cross-functional levels

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Other system capability a plus

  • Experience with NetSuite or other inventory/forecast management systems

  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working in an environment with global objectives



Position Responsibilities - Senior Inventory Analyst



  • Use data analytics to support the business strategy and priorities

  • Create critical item pipeline - component and finished good

  • Assign revenue impact of critical items

  • Conduct inventory analysis

  • Create material disposition form

  • Component Phase In Phase Out pipelines

  • New Item Setup Process Management

  • Place individual orders for all kinds of direct material as well as call-off/release orders based on existing blanket orders/quantity contracts

  • Proactive communication of stock out situations

  • Event Management: Drive to closure all events that disrupt the supply chain such as late deliveries, wrong materials, quality issues, transport/forwarding problems, natural disasters and force majeure, etc.

  • Work with 3PL's to arrange transportation of incoming goods

  • Slow-Moving, Excess and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB): Identify and address slow moving, excess and obsolete inventory

  • PI/PO: Professional Execution of phase-in and phase-out processes at suppliers and locally including but not limited to new products, EOL (End of Life) or supplier changes (phase-over)

  • Supplier Forecasts: Provide non-binding forecasts and updates on required quantities to suppliers on a regular basis to enable them to plan forward. Follow-up with suppliers after communication to ensure acceptance

  • KPI's: Timely reporting of defined KPI's including identification of and creating visibility surrounding any follow up actions

  • Run various daily reports
