About the Program About the Program The Human Frontier Collective (HFC) at Scale AI connects domain experts, including advanced researchers, software engineers, and elite professionals across diverse fields, to engage in groundbreaking generative AI research. As an HFC Coding Specialist, you will directly enhance and shape AI capabilities specifically designed to assist Swift developers. This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Swift and AI-driven coding practices, influencing the future of coding productivity and effectiveness through generative AI. PLEASE NOTE:This is a fully remote contract opportunity with an estimated duration of 6 months. What You'll Do Hands-On Swift Development: Actively code and build Swift-based applications, utilizing large language models (LLMs) throughout the development process to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Interactive AI Integration: Collaborate with research teams to practically integrate and test LLM-generated code within real-world Swift applications, assessing usability, efficiency, and accuracy. Evaluate Model Effectiveness: Systematically uncover insights into model performance by analyzing their ability to aid in Swift development, providing detailed feedback to improve AI capabilities. Specialized Swift AI Projects: Engage in targeted projects exploring key Swift programming areas such as UI design, application architecture, data management, and coding best practices, to optimize AI assistance. Thought Leadership in AI-Assisted Coding: Contribute to technical reports, participate in webinars and panels, and lead discussions on the transformative impact of AI in software development. Who Should Apply Educational Background: Bachelor's or advanced degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Technical Expertise: Extensive proficiency in Swift, including experience with Xcode, SwiftUI, UIKit, and software engineering best practices. Experience with AI Tools: Practical familiarity using large language models (LLMs) like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-driven coding platforms in software development workflows. Professional Experience: Background as a Software Engineer, Swift Developer, iOS Developer, or similar roles with demonstrable Swift project contributions. Why Join the HFC?
