Description

The Mobile Solutions Business Unit is seeking a RF Design Engineer to join a team of talented engineers and grow the team in our San Jose Design Center. Our engineering team is responsible for the design and integration of BAW/SAW into cellular front-end modules. These modules include Power Amplifiers, Low-Noise Amplifiers, band/antenna switches and BAW/SAW filters. As a part of filter design team, you will work on complex RF modules to integrate multiple dice from a variety of technologies to deliver the best-in-class performance. You will be designing and meticulously analyzing RF circuits such as impedance matching networks, couplers, filters and embedded passives.

The candidate is expected to explore, devise and prototype a variety of RF circuits in order to enhance the competitive position of MSB. The work involves close interaction with product teams to devise solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. The successful candidate possesses a strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF circuits. The candidate will be responsible for EM analysis of active and passive RF front-end circuits. Work experience with integrated RF front end products is highly desired. The ideal candidate is adept in interfacing multiple RF components by devising proper routing, designing low loss impedance matching networks, conceive effective isolation and shielding techniques and subsequently analyze the entire module using advanced EM simulation tools.

The position is in San Jose, a great location for technological innovation in the US and some of the best places in the country hiking, outdoor activities, restaurants and more lifestyle options!
