We have an opening for a Pricing Coordinator.
The Pricing Coordinator role is responsible for maintenance of Firm-wide billing rates, tracking client billing guidelines, engagement letters, and eBilled clients, in addition to providing accurate and reliable billing rates related information and analysis to management necessary for decision making and planning.
In this capacity, the Pricing Coordinator will:
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the rate logic in the Firm's financial system;
- Implement and maintain exception rates, complex fee arrangements, and Firm's hourly billing rates - including setting up special rates, cost exceptions, billing instructions, update client groupings and narratives necessary in the financial system;
- Triage inquiries to the Pricing inbox and provide responses in a timely manner;
- Summarize and review client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), billing guidelines and eBilling requirements for specifics to rate renewal and submission deadlines;
- Reconcile engagement letters against New Business Intake Process; notify attorneys of any discrepancies and request clarification;
- Prepare timekeeper rate cards for e-Billed clients and work closely with the eBilling department in getting approval;
- Assist with global rates management and maintenance;
- Recalculate time entries to ensure compliance to client rate arrangement and accuracy of the Firm's unbilled revenue;
- Document, track and report on Firm-wide special billing rate and fee arrangements;
- Research existing fee arrangements and summarize technical operations setup to address pricing related inquiries from Partners and other business departments;
- Assist Sr. Coordinators on projects related to auditing setups, data mining, cleansing for data integrity, reconciliations, annual reviews and analysis with Partners for client agreement revisions and renewals;
- Participate in brainstorming sessions on process improvements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on updates/upgrades/customizations to the financial system;
- Work overtime as required, in particular at month end and year end; and
- Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Proficiencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience working with large data sets;
- Experience working with financial systems;
- Experience working under tight deadlines and juggling multiple priorities;
- Experience with Elite 3E or similar programs (preferred); and
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
Qualifications:
- Law Firm experience (preferred);
- Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required);
- Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance (preferred); and
- At least 2 years of strong analytical experience (required).

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $63,000 and a maximum of $80,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
