Location: NCEC

Scheduled hours/days: M-Th 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., F 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications:
Licensed in Early Childhood, experience working with young children. Spanish speaking preferred. Experience working with students with differing needs and abilities is preferred.

Pay Rate/Range:
NEA Agreement BA1 -$55,441 - MA40-$91,619. Base pay DOQ - Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 NEA Agreement.

Compensation/Benefits/Perks: This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Early Childhood Coordinator/Community Education Director, the Early Childhood Teacher prepares children, ages 3 to kindergarten entrance, for continued success in the elementary years.

Responsibilities:
Provides and delivers classroom instruction to students incorporating the essential elements of instruction.
• Will team-teach in a full-day preschool consult class.
• Knowledge of child development theories and development stages and needs.
• Ability to plan curriculum.Teach planned lessons.
• Knowledge of child development, birth - age 5.
• Ability to work well in a team.
