Description

The Assistant Registrar and Workday Leadserves as the primary functional expert and business process owner for the Workday Student Information System. This role is responsible for the effective management, optimization, and support of Workday, ensuring it aligns with institutional goals and operational needs. Acting as a bridge between technology and campus operations, this position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the student information ecosystem. In collaboration with stakeholders across Dunwoody, the Assistant Registrar and Workday Lead drives system efficiency, user adoption, and data accuracy. Key responsibilities include supporting strategic initiatives, leading system enhancements, delivering training, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workday System Management and Optimization



  • Lead the enhancement and day-to-day management of Workday, focusing on student systems, user experience, and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT to define requirements, support testing and configuration, and manage system releases.
  • Serve as a Workday Power User, providing training, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities for automation and innovation.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and departmental users, and vendors to ensure effective communication and continuous system improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity through audits and best practiceswhile generating and analyzing reports and dashboards to support institutional decision-making and compliance.
  • Develop training materials, lead adoption initiatives, andimplement strategies to enhance system engagement and proficiency.
  • Lead and support multiple cross-functional projects involving Workday and other campus systems, ensuring timely delivery, clear stakeholder coordination, and achievement of defined outcomes.



Strategic Collaboration & Institutional Engagement



  • Lead platform roadmap development and prioritize system enhancements in alignment with institutional goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Enrollment, IT, Marketing, and other departments to design student-facing solutions and communication workflows.
  • Provide strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership, including the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Registrar.
  • Actively engage in campus-wide data governance and ERP initiatives, contribute to institutional technology strategies, and maintain a strong presence in the Workday Community.



Assistant Registrar Job Functions



  • Provide support to the Registrar's Office by assisting with student records management, customer service, commencement preparations, transcript evaluations, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experienceworking with Workday Student.
  • Experience in higher education, preferably in Student Records or Registrar's Office
  • Demonstrated expertise insystem administration, configuration, and optimizationof enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding ofhigher education operations, including registration, records, compliance, and reporting.
  • Proven ability toanalyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and tactics within Workday
