Hours & Pay Shift: Monday - Friday \| 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp-to-hire What You'll Be Doing As a CNC Machinist, you'll play a critical role in machining precision components using a variety of CNC and manual equipment. You'll work from blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-tolerance parts while collaborating with engineers and supervisors to solve complex manufacturing challenges. Daily Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and manual machines to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical drawings Calculate speeds, feeds, and tool paths; input and edit CNC programs as needed Measure and mark materials using precision measuring tools Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot malfunctions or out-of-tolerance results Perform inspections on first-run and in-process parts to ensure quality standards Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance programs Communicate with engineers on tooling, material, and setup improvements Fabricate and deburr parts to specification, ensuring accurate finish and performance Assist with assembly tasks and collaborate with team members on production issues Benefits You Can Count On Enjoy more than just a paycheck. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing setting Proficient in machine/tooling setup, CNC programming, and blueprint reading Experience with manual machining, low-volume production, and tool setting Strong understanding of shop math, quality control, and inspection tools Skilled in CAD/CAM software; Inventor/Autodesk and Fusion 360 preferred Familiar with plastics, metals, castings/molds, and ISO/ASME standards Able to lift up to 50 lbs, use warehouse tools/equipment, and stand for extended periods High School Diploma or GED required; college or trade coursework preferred Forklift operation and a valid driver's license for company vehicle use are a plus Time to Take the Next Step If you're ready to bring your CNC skills to a company that values precision, teamwork, and innovation, we'd love to meet you.
