We are seeking a Supervisor, Pre-Registration to join our team and oversee daily operations of the pre-registration team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

This role involves coaching staff, fostering a positive work environment, and driving process improvements through technology and standardization. The Supervisor collaborates with clinical leadership to enhance quality control and organizational performance, while supporting professional development and regulatory compliance.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitates the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for consistent and compliant and pre-registration practices.

  • Builds and maintains a collaborative working relationship between clinical leaders, and other stakeholders to fosters a team approach to appropriate pre-registration practices.

  • Lead and manage the pre- registration department to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Develop and implement training programs for new and existing pre-registration staff

  • Analyze registration workflows to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient experiences and effective communication between teams.

  • Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the registration process

  • Uses key performance indicators on dashboards and scorecards to monitor performance and direct resources as appropriate.

  • Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.

  • Creates and maintains efficient processes for accurately determining and communicating the patient's financial obligation.

What You'll Need:

  • Associate degree in business or a health-related field.

  • 3-4 years of experience healthcare business operations, patient business office/registration, or medical office billing/claims, with demonstration of increasing responsibility.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staff.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficient in healthcare registration systems and electronic health records (EHR).
