Title: Software Developer
Location: Houston, TX 77032 (Hybrid) - 3 Days/Week
Duration: Long term Contract on W2
Overview:

Collaborate within a DevOps team to deliver software through CI/CD to a highly parallelized, scalable cloud environment, providing critical information that drives customer success. As a key player in our team, you will tackle some of the industry's most challenging problems, enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing well productivity. Work Responsibility and Authority Level:
- Under general supervision, you will leverage your technical software development skills to analyze and define system scope and objectives for developing or modifying engineering applications.
- Be instrumental in selecting and implementing technologies, designing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting engineering systems applications.
- Develop test strategies for automated regression testing of these systems.
- Engage in projects of moderate scope and complexity, contributing to the development of assignments and schedules.
- Your skills are honed through an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, along with 4 years of related experience or through 8 years of related software development experience.
Skillset Required:
- Excellent communication skills with executive presence, delivering thoughts succinctly and tailoring information for the audience.
- Proficiency in understanding concurrency and multithreading.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in Desktop and Web-based application development.
- Ability to implement REST and gRPC API Endpoints.
- Knowledge of container systems (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Linux.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Git, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
- Proficiency in using .NET Core to deliver projects.
