Your Job

Molex, LLC is seeking a Buyer/Planner to support operations at our Hudson, WI location. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of all materials required for our operations, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will play a critical role in executing our purchasing strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing our supply chain processes to support the company's objectives.

Our Team

You will join the Optical Connectivity segment based in Hudson, WI. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the purchase of direct and indirect materials and fixed assets is executed with the best possible options. What You Will Do

  • Execute purchasing operations, ensuring compliance with ERP messages, including placing and confirming purchase orders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Optimize purchasing parameters and maintain ERP data integrity, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
  • Lead escalation efforts to resolve supply chain challenges and collaborate closely with sourcing and category managers.
  • Participate in the development of new processes and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support business strategies.
  • Assist/execute Purchase Order's for regional/global buys as required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Associates degree
  • 3+ years of purchasing experience with global suppliers

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with data visualization and lean methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Proficient in the use of problem-solving tools such as 5 Why's and Kaizen methodology.
  • Advanced planning/forecasting experience (S&OP/IBP)
  • Experience in warehouse or logistics.

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $90,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
