We're looking for an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to support our Volunteer Services Department-a role at the heart of our mission to create meaningful volunteer experiences that support patients, staff, and the community. What You'll Do:

As the Operations Coordinator for Volunteer Management, you'll serve as the key hub for all administrative, onboarding, and communications functions within the department. You'll also be the friendly face representing the organization in the community-helping inspire others to get involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external Volunteer Services inquiries.

  • Coordinate volunteer interviews, onboarding, scheduling, and supervision in partnership with the Director.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate volunteer records, applications, and compliance documentation.

  • Manage social media accounts for Volunteer Services and affiliated groups.

  • Support retail and payroll operations related to the Gift Shop and logowear sales.

  • Collaborate with Public Relations on volunteer web content, donation needs, and events.

  • Oversee patient comfort clothing inventory and related communications.

  • Handle donor acknowledgments and volunteer correspondence.

  • Assist with Education Services by onboarding student and shadow volunteers as needed.

  • Participate in financial tracking and reporting of department revenues and expenses.

  • Help plan, maintain, and execute events, special projects, and department initiatives.

  • Uphold a courteous and professional demeanor with all individuals in and outside the organization.

What You Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 3 years of progressive administrative experience.

  • Strong multitasking skills in a high-volume setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Familiarity with foreign languages spoken by patient populations.
