Sr Manager Customer Data Strategy & Analytics
The Senior Manager, Customer Data Strategy/Analytics is responsible for shaping the strategic vision and direction of customer data analytics. This position is pivotal in harnessing data-driven insights to support the bank's growth initiatives, including customer acquisition, cross-selling, and retention. The Senior Manager of Analytics leads a team of data specialists and collaborates closely with senior leadership to formulate a visionary approach to data analytics. Key leadership responsibilities include guiding the team, fostering innovation, and aligning analytics strategies with organizational objectives to drive impactful results.
Position Responsibilities:
Vision and Strategy
- Shape and communicate the overarching vision for advanced marketing analytics
within the organization. - Develop and lead the strategic direction for our analytics initiatives, aligning
them with the bank's growth objectives. - Collaborate with Lines of Business to define and prioritize strategic initiatives
related to customer acquisition, cross-selling, and retention. - Cultivate strategic partnerships with third-party data and analytics providers to
enhance our capabilities and innovation.
Leadership and Oversight
- Provide visionary leadership to a team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and data
specialists, guiding them in addressing complex business challenges. - Oversee data analytics and insight generation initiatives, providing strategic
direction to optimize team productivity. - Identify opportunities for segmentation and personalization based on statistical modeling, guiding the team in implementing these strategies.
- Foster a culture of innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior
leadership and technology teams. - Communicate the vision and strategy effectively through high-quality
presentations and thought leadership. - Collaborate with external partners and vendors to explore new opportunities and stay at
the forefront of industry trends.
Strategic Impact
- Drive strategic thinking and innovation in data analytics, positioning the
organization as a leader in the industry. - Ensure that CLV models and data-driven insights directly inform decision-making
processes, particularly in areas such as acquisition campaigns, cross-selling, and product recommendations. - Influence risk management processes by collaborating closely with the Model
Risk Management (MRM) team to validate and enhance models.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Data, IT, Analytics,
Marketing, Project Management, Economics, or a related discipline. Preferred Master Degree MBA, Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is highly desirable - 8 years of professional experience required for this role, with significant emphasis on leadership
- 5 years of experience with a proven track record of managing analytics projects from conception through delivery, showcasing the ability to drive strategic vision
- 5 years of experience in using data analytics tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau
- 1 year of experience in banking, finance, fintech, or another related field preferred
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
