Job Description:

Job Summary
  • Responsible for ensuring timekeeping and attendance discrepancies are corrected according to policies and contracts to maintain accuracy. Adhere to state laws, leave of absence policies and side agreements from Labor Relations.
  • This Sr Associate will support a two-person Team focused on maintaining compliance and precise payroll processing across the corporate space.

Responsibilities
  • Resolves pay and/or attendance discrepancies in accordance with Guidelines for Employees and Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Research and correct accrual and/or attendance balances
  • Maintain Employee information, such as transfers, resignations/terminations, reinstatements, and any other relevant Employee movement
  • Gather and analyze information for system accuracy and reporting purposes
  • Partner with the Labor Relations administration team to respond to grievances and arbitrations as needed
  • Assist and handle escalated needs/case scenarios from Internal Customers
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Expert level knowledge in the pay and/or attendance rules of the Guidelines for Employees and/or the Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Knowledge of administrative systems such as Kronos and managing files and records.
  • Make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively develop and implement solutions
  • The ability to compile, assimilate, and organize data and ensure proper documentation
  • Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Perform basic math skills quickly and accurately (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • The ability to identify or detect a known pattern that is hidden in other distracting material
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
    • Kronos Timekeeping
Licensing/Certification
  • N/A
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job, in person and virtually
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to write or type for extended periods of time
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $56,000 per year to $62,200 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
