Job Description:

The Sales Performance Consultant supports our Purpose by building reports and tools, analyzing complex data, and finding insights to help support corporate sales initiatives and revenue generation. Additionally, this role partners with Leaders and individual contributors to deliver on timely and high visibility projects. The Sales Performance Consultant is a strategic thinker and skilled communicator who looks forward to making a meaningful impact in the Southwest Business Department.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and draw insights from complex data sets, supporting projects and initiatives as directed by Leaders
  • Perform analysis to quantify, analyze, and determine route cause analysis of revenue trends/drivers
  • Communicate insights to partners to develop strategies that drive Southwest Business revenue, ensure absolute accuracy in analytical modeling
  • Partner with peers and other Teams within Southwest Business to source relevant content and accurate data for Southwest Business reporting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and be able to lead and/or assist in evaluating options and alternatives to ensure business needs are met in a timely fashion
  • Develop insight driven reports and dashboards that help Seniors Leaders make informed decisions based on relevant KPI's
  • Support Executive-level updates, translating analytical results into presentable formats for all levels of management, emphasizing recommendations and key insights to drive revenue-generating behavior
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data which may also include turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Ability to listen, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
  • Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Ability to quickly make sense of, combine, and organize information into meaningful patterns
  • Ability to leverage advanced analytics and forecasting to build innovative models or overhaul existing models that drive insights
  • Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
    • Data: Working with large data sets, manipulating raw data, performing advanced analytics, and crafting actionable insights
    • Forecasting: Leverage advanced techniques to help predict future results and insights
    • Communication: Ability to communicate with Senior Leaders and tell the Southwest Business revenue story in a concise and compelling manner
    • Data visualization: Displaying data in a concise and easily digestible format for Leadership and stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience with data extraction tools like SQL, RedShift, etc.
  • Preferred: Experience with data manipulation tools like Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
  • Preferred: Experience with data storytelling and Executive reporting
  • Preferred: Experience on revenue-generating teams

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $100,700.00 - $111,900.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
