  • Someone with demonstrated expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL?
  • A team-minded collaborator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills?

As the Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. This includes building custom applications, integrating Salesforce with other systems, and optimizing existing processes to enhance functionality and performance. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility, quality, and scalability.

A Day in the Life

  • Application Development: Design and implement custom Salesforce applications, including Lightning components, Apex classes, and triggers, to meet business requirements. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • System Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using APIs, middleware, or custom solutions to enable seamless data flow and functionality
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to test, debug, and ensure the reliability and performance of Salesforce solutions, leveraging tools like ProVar and ACCELQ for automation where applicable
  • Decision-Making and Impact: As a Salesforce Application Developer, your technical expertise directly impacts the scalability and functionality of Salesforce solutions. Key contributions include:
  • Code Optimization: Refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability while minimizing technical debt
  • Error Reduction: Partner with QA teams to develop automated testing frameworks, reducing configuration errors and ensuring robust deployments. Every development decision significantly affects user satisfaction, system efficiency, and the organization's ability to scale operations effectively
  • Strategic Input and Operational Objectives:The Salesforce Application Developer plays a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement through:
  • Technology Advancement: Implementing cutting-edge Salesforce features, such as LWC (Lightning Web Components) and advanced API usage, to enhance system capabilities
  • Process Optimization: Identifying inefficiencies in existing processes and proposing technical solutions to streamline workflows and improve system performance
  • The Salesforce Application Developer works closely with:
  • CRM Manager to align development efforts with technical roadmaps and organizational priorities
  • CRM Lead and Salesforce Analysts to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions
  • QA Teams to validate the functionality and reliability of developed solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Salesforce solutions
  • Proven experience with Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce API integrations
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications
  • Salesforce Application Architect certification, nice to have
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Gearset, GIT, Copado, or Jenkins is nice to have

Knowledge & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Platform features
  • Proficient in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and SOQL
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues on the Salesforce platform
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including OAuth, SSO, and role hierarchy configurations
  • A continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking opportunities to optimize and enhance existing solutions

The hiring base salary range for this position is $98,200 - $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
