In this dynamic role, you'll manage a portfolio of suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material availability that aligns with factory demand. You'll lead purchasing activities through SAP, support new product introductions, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and sales teams. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical skills, experience in high-volume manufacturing, and a background in chemistry or medical devices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES




  • Manage a portfolio of vendors and drive material supply in alignment with factory demand.
  • Execute the SIOP demand plan through SAP to ensure material availability for factory builds.
  • Conduct weekly supplier reviews to maintain on-time delivery performance, focusing on service and delivery targets.
  • Issue rolling forecasts and purchase orders to the supply base in a timely manner to support flexible production planning and material supply.
  • Use SAP to generate reports and extract data for forecasting, supply, and materials planning.
  • Manage new product introduction projects, including the approval and implementation of new SKUs and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and supply data are maintained in SAP for all purchases.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings across the supply chain.


  • Develop strong relationships with other internal functions including Quality, Engineering, Production, and Sales teams.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
  • Chemistry / medial device background preferred.



Experience




  • 1-2 years experience preferred.
  • Experience gained within a hi-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles preferred.



Skills




  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision while prioritizing tasks.



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Memberships of CPIM & CSCP preferred.

LOCATION

Lakewood, Colorado - Onsite (hybrid) - Open to candidates willing to relocate to the area.

TRAVEL

Ability to travel to travel to supplier locations when required.

Target Pay Range:$55,400.00to$69,200.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
