Job Summary
- The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Technology Consultant is responsible for the development, coding and implementing sound Anaplan Models that support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes in accordance with Agile/SAFE requirements and standards. Will define the vision and requirements for the build, coding, of a desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable solution that delivers value at the right time, to the right customers and stakeholders over the product-market lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Play a crucial part in troubleshooting issues and providing user support as needed to enhance the overall financial planning capabilities of the organization.
- Mentors and aligns with other Model Builders across the Centers of Excellence
- Develop and implement Anaplan solutions by leveraging knowledge of finance and technology, while planning for contingencies
- Collaborate with Model Builders to apply Anaplan best practices and standards consistently
- Advocate for the customer, conducting continuous user research to inform product vision and roadmap
- Define, document, and maintain product features by creating acceptance criteria and ensuring completeness while also sequencing enabler work in the program backlog and kanban
- Resolve technical issues during design, coding, testing, and maintenance using problem-solving skills to ensure service level objectives are met
- Work in a SAFE/agile environment to deliver high-quality software and continuously improve processes
- Support the Anaplan COE and contribute to its enablement and growth
- Collaborate with Change Management to prepare for product releases, including documentation and training
- Proactively gather and elicit requirements to improve FP&A deliverables, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches to improve the delivery of FP&A deliverables
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) technology platforms and architectures
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Anaplan
- Knowledge of data analysis and quantitative modeling techniques used to investigate business questions and forecast financial and operational performance
- Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and agile work methods
- Knowledge of financial planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. (i.e., Financial Planning and Analysis)
- Skilled in using Anaplan for model building (coding modules), including modules, lists, dashboards, and UI/UX design
- Skilled in project management skills to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and deliver Anaplan solutions on schedule
- Skilled in leading activities to support the delivery work including product launch communications, training materials, user acceptance testing, business validation, and post-deployment analysis to identify improvements
- Ability to troubleshoot model issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Ability to adapt to changes in business requirements, Anaplan platform updates, and evolving best practices
- Ability to communicate clearly complex business needs to Leaders, Managers, Architects, and other technical Stakeholders by highlighting capabilities needed and value solutions provide
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Information Technology (IT) operations, systems/software development, software engineering, Agile/SAFE, or another IT related field
- EPM solutions, software engineering, and minimal viable solutions required to meet requirements
- Anaplan Planual, Anaplan best practices, modeling, and UI/UX building/coding
- Relationship building with leaders, end-users, and technology peers
- Requirement gathering and management of software products and solutions
- Presenting to Leaders and project management
Licensing/Certification
- Anaplan Level 1 Certified
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive market salary from $116,350 per year to $129,300 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
