GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Provides ongoing support to the accounting team. Assists the team with ongoing research and development, documenting processes and writing Standard Operating Procedures. Provides administration support to the General Manager and M&R Manager.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

* Coordinates with M&R Manager for City & County DMV required documentation to keep vehicles compliant with C&C and Department of Transportation.

* Tracks semi-annual payment due on leases and issues documentation of payments.

* Tracks Property management related expenses.

* Provides support on QuickBooks customer and product list maintenance, customized reports and recording of payment.

* Assists accounting team with Accounts Receivables for AAFES, Square, Shopify, Costco and SPS Commerce.

* Provides support for billing of water and real property tax.

* Assists with the processing of payable documents after proper auditing and final verification of FAP authorization.

* Coordinates with DBS for AP batch processing, vendor maintenance, payment follow up and other vendor issues.

* Assists with vendor problem resolution and maintenance of statements and correspondence with the vendor.

* Completes payroll reconciliation and monthly accrual report compilation.

* Documents procedures for accounting functions as needed.

* Tracks equipment M&R costs to better justify replacement.

* Performs special projects as assigned.

Required Experience

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:

Associate's degree

3 -5 years accounting experience including auditing.
