Secondary Operations

Penn United Technologies is seeking motivated candidates for a full-time, entry-level Secondary Operations position in our Production Manufacturing department. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently cleaning, inspecting, and packaging precision parts to meet or exceed production standards. Candidates must be available to work primarily on daylight and afternoon rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:



  • Set up and operate parts cleaning equipment
  • Sort and package parts
  • Work with area coordinator and management to strive for meeting delivery dates
  • May help to schedule machines to best serve customers
  • Follow all quality, related work instructions, and safety plans in accordance with company policies
  • Work with chemicals involved in the parts cleaning process
  • May assist manufacturing personnel in other duties necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the group toward achieving the manufacturing goals.


Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet production quotas
  • Ability to comprehend written procedures
  • High level of concentration
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Good visual acuity to visually inspect parts and finger dexterity to handle and package parts
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to communicate well with co-workers
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts (primarily daylight & afternoon)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
