Service Desk/Desktop Specialist

The Service Desk Specialist/Desktop Support position will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software including a custom iOS app for the business. This will include working with our technicians to resolve technical issues over the phone, working with development staff testing new enhancements, and providing input to the mobile hardware depot.

Location: Fishers, IN

In Office: 4 Days/Week

What You Will Do:

  • Provide technical assistance and support (in person, over the phone, and via email) for incoming questions and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Properly escalate unresolved requests to the next level of support.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktop systems.
  • Participate in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of equipment and data.
  • Identify, document, research, and resolve incidents. If escalation is required, this position is responsible for documenting, tracking, monitoring, and ensuring timely request resolution.
  • Work with Development staff to test handheld application and report enhancements.
  • Deliver process documentation to field for application enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Help Desk/Service Desk environment
  • 2+ years Microsoft Office Experience: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 1+ years of AirWatch, Intune, or other MDM administration experience
  • 1+ years of experience supporting iOS devices
  • 2+ years of experience with desktop imaging software
  • 2+ years of experience working with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures related to servers, networks, applications, and hardware
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing call management software & monitoring tools - such as ServiceNow
  • 2+ years experience writing user documentation for training and development
  • 2+ years experience utilizing time management tools and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
