Printpack's manufacturing plant in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Roto Set Up Coordinator on 3rd shift (11pm - 7am, Sun- Thu).

The Roto Set Up Coordinator is responsible for managing and monitoring rotogravure cylinder operations, ensuring efficient workflow through proper cylinder inspection, inventory management, and coordination of changeovers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction for cylinder inspector and Roto Set Up Technician

  • Monitor safety, rotogravure cylinders and inventory systems

  • Compile information written and verbally to expedite changeovers in process

  • Complete and understand all job tasks and reports

  • Monitor rotogravure cylinder usage throughout all processes, footage and damage

  • Monitor the shipping and receiving of rotogravure cylinders

  • Monitor and maintain safety protocols for cylinder handling

  • Compile and communicate information for changeovers

  • Coordinate with production teams on cylinder needs

  • Support efficient changeover processes

  • Complete required documentation and reports

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of rotogravure printing process a plus

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management systems

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Basic mathematical skills

  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Required Skills:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to read and write detailed reports

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Previous experience in printing industry a plus

  • Drug screening required

  • Background check required
